Positive test

Iv done two tests . One on Sunday which was positive both lines really dark then done another Monday morning which still said positive but the test line wasn't as dark , does this mean anything or am I just being paranoid ? Both test where done first thing in the morning .

Hi, I wouldn't worry too much as mine were all varying darknesses and shades, and i did like 6 because I couldnt believe it haha. Im now 16 weeks. I'd hold off on testing until your first booking in appointment so you don't worry yourself, good luck! Xxx

I'm just abit worried as iv found out I have a urine infection and have been googling about it and it says a urine infection can cause a false positive.so now I'm wondering if I am pregnant or if it's just a false positive xxx

I also had a urine infection at the time of testing, the tests only pick up the level of pregnancy hormone in your urine so I really don't think it would affect a test, false positives are really rare! You can request a blood test from the doctors to make 100% sure that you're pregnant, but I would say its positive as your sitation is almost identical to mine xx
