Light brown discharge 1 week and 6 days after BFP???

Hi,

I am really looking for some reassurance on my situation...
I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago. However, for the last day I've experienced very small amounts of light brown discharge and slightly achey in lower abdomen/back. No severe cramping though.
Is it possible for this to be implantation bleeding, even though I would have implanted around the time of my BFP 2 weeks ago? Or is this likely to be something else? Been so worried, so would really appreciate hearing anyone else's story who has experience the same thing!

I had exactly the same thing - pale brown / pinkish discharge, and mild cramping, last a day or two, on three separate occasions during the first 12 weeks. I had a scan and there was a small haematoma in my uterus which caused the bleeding, but the doctor wasn't worried at all. Now 27 weeks and everything is great. Try not to worry as light bleeding is incredibly common in early pregnancy and there is no need to worry unless it gets much heavier/bright red/clotty.

Thank you so much for your message @chestnut9
I have read before that a haematoma can the cause of bleeding. At what point did you seek advice for the bleeding? I don't want to waste anyone's time, but at the same time, being a first-time Mum, I'm a little nervous. Also, is there any specific treatment for the haematoma or does it just require close monitoring? Thanks again!

I had a small amount of brown discharge at 6 weeks. Now 10 weeks and everything looks fine (healthy looking scan at 8 weeks too).

Thank you @Sleepinglemon that's really reassuring to know! Glad everything is going okay for you
