Terrified to give birth

I'm terrified to give birth and to go through the pain , this is my first baby I'm 6 months and it just started to hit me that pretty soon that day is gonna come an I'm super scared , is it as bad as they say it is

Yes there was pain for me because I was induced and that can intensify and speed up the contractions.
I ended up using gas & air, pethidine and an epidural because I was in a lot of pain. That is was the drugs are there for. There are correlations with drugs and assisted interventions but that’s just the way it goes, by the time I was pushing I felt no pain, just pressure.

I used hypnobirthing techniques throughout my pregnancy and the birth, it’s ridiculous for some ppl to suggest it’s one or the other - hyno and natural or drugged to the hilt. There can be a mix of both to aid you.
It’s one day in your life and the pain relief is there to help manage the pain so don’t worry on the pain front - that can be dealt with. Concentrate on relaxing and bringing yourself into a positive and enthusiastic mindset - you’re gonna meet your baby! It’s amazing :)
