Hiya, just looking for some advice to stop me worrying so much as this is my 1st baby so not exactly an expert on this.. I’m 30 weeks + 3. One day last week (can’t remember which day in particular) I lost a bit of what sounds and looks like my mucus plug. And Friday night when going to the toilet I also lost what looks like the “bloody show” as people call it. But it wasn’t a hell of a lot. Ever since Saturday morning though, I’ve been suffering with a horrible upset stomach and diorreah (so sorry if it’s too much info lol) and along with that, I’ve had terrible cramps and period like pains all around my stomach, lower stomach, all around my lower back and much more discharge than usual. I know Braxton-Hicks are common, or the pains could be to do with the upset stomach but because this is my first baby I’m confused as to what to look out for etc. do I need to ring up triage unit at my hospital or just see how things go? Any advice would be very appreciated thank you

You need to phone the hospital asap. Losing your plug isn't of any concern, but a bloody show can be an indication that labour may start soon. Braxton Hicks aren't supposed to be all that painful. With any luck it's just cramps from an upset stomach, but you need to be checked over just in case you are actually having contractions

Definitely ring your hospital. Always ring if you have any signs of labour pre 37 weeks.
