16 week appointment confusion

I'm coming up to my 16 weeks Mark and I'm having confusion about my appointment as I assumed I would get sent a letter like I did with my first appointment but I haven't so now I'm thinking did I need to make the appointment myself? As my midwife said she will see me at 16 weeks and my last appointment was made for me

I didn’t get a letter, arranged it with midwife. I’d give her a call or text to ask for an appointment

My midwife arranged mine at my booking in but in previous pregnancies I had to make the appointment myself by calling up. Ring when they're next open and explain

I was told I had to make the appointment myself, give her a call.

Check your notes, mine have a bit at the front where the midwife puts the time/date of the next appointment. She should have told you as well but might have just filled it out when she was doing your other notes and forgotten to say.

I had to book mine, just ring the community midwife team, and they will help.

I had to phone my go surgery to make my appointments

My appointments are booked every time i go to a previous appointment, for example i went last Thursday and after she booked me in for another in a few weeks time and wrote the date/time in my medical book at the front.

I dont receive letters x

I’m another one who has to phone up my GP surgery to book my appointments.

Thank you everyone, it turns out I did have one booked by midwife but she didn't tell me for some reason but I got a confirmation via text the day before which was yesterday, had my appointment today and heard the heartbeat! So precious xx
