Constant period type cramps - 35 weeks

Hi all,
Should I be concerned about fairly constant nagging period type cramps? Quite sore last night but slept well so can't have been too bad once asleep!

Am 35+2 and they came on after some fairly vigorous walking up and down hills yesterday.

Have had cramps over the last few weeks but they've come and gone.

Have googled and could be body getting ready for labour, a UTI or even early labour - any experience on this?

Thanks. Probably not drank a lot, will hit the water when I get home and see if that helps.

I thought Braxton Hicks came and went? These cramps are fairly constant!

I had period type cramps that started in the night and went on all the following day. In the evening I had a warm bath after which the pain intensified. DS was born two hours later.

@cathay123 did you know it was labour? This is my first and I feel utterly clueless!
