Hi,
I think I'm just looking for sone reassurance before I wind myself up more!
I'm 5+4 so still quite early on but last time I a mc at 6 weeks and it was suspected ectopic
Today my right ovary has been causing me some pain, not severe but still sharp and uncomfortable
I had 22 eggs collected so was at risk of OHSS.
Could this be late OHSS, an ovarian cyst or just my ovary readjusting?
Or should I be thinking that perhaps this could be ectopic?
I've had zero bleeding and understand how I can come across as paranoid.
I don't know whether to call my clinic, the EPU or just wait til my scan on Thursday?

Contact the emergency number for your clinic. The nurse on call may be able to arrange an emergency scan either at the clinic or EPU.

Just to give you some reassurance - I am 17 weeks pregnant now and had 10 eggs collected during my ivf. I didn’t have OHSS but had sore ovarian pain all the way through the first trimester and every time I have been scanned they’ve looked carefully at my ovaries which are still enlarged. Apparently they are somewhat overworked if you get pregnant immediately after a fresh cycle.

Defo ring the fertility clinic or EPU if you are concerned though.

@Saltisford thank you, interesting to know. I think they're upset about something

@Teddybear45 I called the EPU following your advice.

They did an examination, no scan as they said I was too early. They said everything seemed fine and no logical reason for the pain. They did bloods which came back at 6000 so they said there's no reason for concern. I'll mention it on Thursday when I go for my scan.
