Is anyone else expressing colostrum antenally? I'm not doing it for a medical reason - I just like the thought of having backup syringes in the freezer just in case. For if baby needs a top up, or isn't feeding well, or one of us is poorly as I'd like to use breastmilk rather than formula in these scenarios if possible.
How are you finding it? I'm finding it alright but takes forever! I'm sure everyone is different, but I can only get 0.2ish out of each breast each time, so it takes about 3 goes each day to get 1ml! Is that normal!? I've read it becomes easier and amounts can increase, but after how long?
