Daily headaches since Tuesday. Had a GP app last Wednesday and mentioned it but he said as BP and urine were normal he wasn't concerned. Today is Saturday and it is really getting to me the constant pain. It feels sinus like but don't have any congestion.

Is this a normal pregnancy symptom? 27 weeks

Unfortunately yes. I'm currently 16 weeks and have had it for about 2 weeks. I've found using a vicks nasal inhaler and 4head does help though. I had it during my last pregnancy too only a bit later on like yours. Hope you find something that helps.

Thanks for the reply! Is it worth going back to GP again or do I just put up with it?

Same here Op. Probably 4 days per week, usually always at night, although can last into the next morning.
I'm 16 weeks and Midwife is not that concerned as urine / blood fine. Ive found screens (work laptop/phone etc) make it worse but drinking plenty of fluids, taking two paracetamol (if I absolutely have to) and making sure my ponytail isn't too tight, seems to help!

JamesonCask · 04/05/2019 22:22

Ya I've had to take paracetamol a few times just to take the edge off. This is my second pregnancy but never had this last time. I find lying down helps as well rather than being up and about but only so much of that I'll get away with Grin

Full fat coke. Honestly. It was a lifesaver for me.

JamesonCask · 04/05/2019 22:33

I don't drink coke! Hate the stuff, only drink water

If your GP has checked and is satisfied I don't see a need to go back unless you want a second opinion. Are paracetamol working for you? I found they turned my stomach which is why I had to try the 4head.

I hate it too, drank it with my nose held. But it worked.

Mrsmummy90 · 05/05/2019 00:16

I'm 28 weeks and I've been getting headaches nearly every night with no explanation for the past couple of weeks.
Bp and urine also fine.
I'm guessing it's just one of those things!

JamesonCask · 05/05/2019 11:11

@Chanandlersbong, paracetamol isn't working, sometimes it takes the edge off but doesn't go.

Call your maternity triage. You may need your bp checking again.
