Hi everyone. I have been browsing mumsnet for many months now but I just signed up. ☺️

I am 25 years old, in March I had a MMC (missed miscarriage) I went for my 12 week scan and the baby had stopped weeks before my scan. I decided to miscarry naturally but I became very unwell and developed sepsis. The whole experience was traumatizing, it was my first pregnancy, the baby wasn't planned but my fiancé and I were super excited about having a baby.

As soon as I was feeling healthy and ready we decided to start TTC, I became pregnant after my first period since the MMC. I am so excited and happy but also very worried.

I am so afraid that it will happen again. I am checking for blood all the time. I am very early, about 4 weeks. But I have vaginal dryness. It is so dry and feels sore to touch, today it doesn't feel so bad but it's still there. Is this abnormal? Should I be concerned?

I have researched and apparently this can be a sign of low progesterone, and low progesterone can cause miscarriage.

Would my progesterone levels have been checked when I went to the hospital with bleeding in my last pregnancy? I had blood checks to check is I was negative blood type, but would progesterone levels have been checked also?

I am so worried I am going to lose this baby. I couldn't bare to go through that again. I have been taking supplements, and conception supplements while TTC also. Trying to be health conscious.

Has anybody else experienced vaginal dryness/soreness so early in pregnancy?
I have a doctor appointment next week could I ask him to check for this?

Any advice is appreciated
Thank you ☺️

Hey i couldnt read and not say anything
Your body is changing so dryness etc may happen ,yes ask you doctor about it.take a urine sample with u aswell for him to check
I lost a baby at 20wks so it is hard to not worry when pregnant. Im pregnant now too and my worries have been so over the top. When u get your midwife appointment tell her how worried u are she will put your mind at ease & help u through it.
Congratulations on being pregnant, try not to worry ,if u are come on here always someone to help x
