Any nub theorists?

Just for fun! Can’t decide if because the bottom of the spine is quite curved it would affect the theory...

Definitely boy - looks just like my 12 week scan and I found out today I'm having a boy! You can see the nub is pointing upwards and is also kind of 'stacked'.

Boy was my first instinct too! @mostimproved I don’t suppose you would mind posting your pic for comparison? When I drew the imaginary lines on the spine and nub (parallel for girl and angle 30degrees or greater between them for boy) I thought they were more parallel... by the way I’m happy if it is a boy but after reading about nub theory etc I’ve gotten into it

I'd say girl, the lines I can see that could be the nub are all parallel to the spine. Xx

Yep here is mine - I thought it looked kind of parallel when I compared the angles, but then with girl nubs they seem much flatter even when the spine is curled up slightly, plus it also has the 'stacking' (hard to explain but google it!

Of course I might be completely wrong, but congratulations either way! Let us know when you find out

Girl nubs point much more obviously downwards/flat. I spent ages on my first pregnancy drawing lines and convincing myself they might be parallel etc but I knew deep down it was a boy. Great news - baby boys are freaking brilliant xx
