Hello everyone Smile I had midwife appointment at 24+6 and apparently baby is already had down. Tbh I'm a bitt worried...is this to early? I want my baby to stay comfy inside there until 37 weeks. Anyone experienced this and g ok into labour early?

Babies move position a million times whilst they’re developing. If your midwife suspected anything was wrong you’d be in the hospital now bring monitored.

My baby was head down from 26 weeks, still in there at 39 weeks

Mine was head down from 20 weeks. Then turned back to back on the day I gave birth. They do what they want, these kids! You'll be fine :-)

Baby might be head down now, but tomorrow It could be bum down, or a million other positions. Being head down doesn't mean that the head is engaged - that's a whole other situation and it normally doesn't happen until about 34 weeks or later.

Thanks ladies I feel much better now 😊 I just want my baby healthy and happy and sometimes I think I'm a bit paranoid Haha Grin

Mine has been head down since 20s too and partially engaged the whole time too (at 28 weeks midwife struggled to find the head and remarked about how very, very low it already was). Still here at 38+ weeks ...

My twins have both been head down since 28 weeks. Still hanging on in the art 33 weeks and presenting twin had been too low to measure head now for over a week....

Sorry that should have said 18 weeks not 28!

mine turned at 16 weeks and was never spotted the other way up again (scans every 3 weeks). He was 2 weeks early. Only problem was a reluctance to turn right and a flat head on one side (due to head being stuck against my pelvis). he had physio from 3 months and he wore a helmet for 6 weeks at 6 months and was fine.
