Clubbing at 20 weeks pregnant

so it's my friends birthday tonight and I have said I will go into town with her and lots of other people that we work with. I went clubbing when I was around 12 weeks pregnant and had a fab night. I mainly go to clubs just to dance anyway so the alcohol side of things doesn't bother me. I'm just wondering whether there is anything I should be careful of as I have heard vibrations can have a negative effect so do you think the vibrations from the music would be strong enough?

I'd more be worried about people knocking into me by all means I'd go but I'd just be very wary of drunken people falling into me. X

I'd be scared of being banged into.

I doubt that the noise levels would be anything near dangerous to an unborn child.

As PP have said, just be hyper aware of others behaviour. If you see someone getting particularly rowdy/aggressive or staggering around steer clear. Also look out for spills and stuff on the floor.

Also you'd need to watch your drink like an eagle because you get stupid idiots spiking drinks.

I never went clubbing when pregnant. I didn't see the point as couldn't drink. I was worried about crowds and people knocking into me, plus I was too tired. If you feel up to it then it's up to you though.

I admire you for feeling up to it, I have felt terrible for weeks and I'm at 23 weeks now! Definitely watch out for other people banging into you and falling, and I would also make sure I'm extra hydrated to deal with the heat

Sounds fine to me if you have the energy and you're only 20wks so probably not that big? Baby is well cushioned from noise and bumps. Just watch out for getting too hot I guess?

No chance I could do it as my pelvic floor would not stand up to the bouncing about but then I'm expecting number 4 and I'm 40, so lots of other reasons I don't fancy it - being up late, queues for the loo, the music!!

Have a fab time!

I’d do it. I did do it at 16 weeks and 21 weeks. As others said, just be super careful for slippery floors caused by split drinks and watch out for anyone that looks like they might bump/fall into you. Have fun! I racked up 19k steps on my last night out with all the dancing!
