How often pelvic floor excercises, how to do it?

And does it make a difference?

When I try it feels weird and a bit uncomfy, not sure if it's right. Used to to it a lot so wonder if I made it more difficult for myself as now really dislike the feeling!

Firstly you'll need to locate the muscles. Best way is to stop flow mid wee and remember which muscles you used, however don't do that too often. Just once or twice until you are confident you know which muscles you are using.

After that, it's just about squeezing! I alternate between quick pulses and also a long hold. There's also apps you can download.

I can't comment on if they work or not as this is my first pregnancy, but even the risk of incontinence is enough to keep me squeezing!

NHS has an app called Squeezy. You can download it for advice. Recommended 3x10, 3 X a day. But search for a Mummy MOT physio near you if you need more one to one support. Pelvic floor exercises are very important.

Defo do squeezy app. I had a 10lb baby in Sept. I did my exercises religiously and after 3 months my vag is better than before! There is hope.

Imagine zipping yourself up from front to back when u squeeze but don't clench buttocks. Really try to pull up up up and hold.
