I'm just under 7 weeks into my 1st pregnancy. I've had some cramps/twinges throughout but dismissed these as Google seems to suggest it's normal. No bleeding.

I've woken up just now with a pain/feeling that I can only liken to the feeling of a swab being taken from my cervix during a smear test. It's not agonisingly painful or anything but very uncomfortable and weird feeling and I don't know it it's normal so panicking a bit.

Any thoughts please idk what to do Sad

Fanny daggers! Grin

Totally normal. It's the uterus starting to or preparing to expand.

Hope this is reassuring:

Google "vaginal pain in early pregnancy" and you'll get TONS of results.

Try to relax, maybe take a couple of paracetamol which may take edge off.

Oh gosh they're the worst! Never had them with second pregnancy just first. I'm having flashbacks now to being out on a lunch break and feeling like I'd impaled myself!
