So my boobs have been ridiculously painful since conception. Have brought tears to my eyes on occasion and felt like they were gonna pop. I even mentioned it to the doctor yday
This morning is the 6 weeks mark and I woke up to feel like they’ve deflated slightly and the pain is no where near as bad. Is this a really bad sign? I thought boob pain didn’t subside until after 1st trimester
I poas yday and it was still a blazing positive

Morning @comps83 try not to worry. Mine were really achy for a couple of weeks which is why I suspected I was pregnant. Then since I found out they have been on and off. Yesterday nothing and I've woke up this morning and my whole boobs are aching and my nipples are sore as hell :) I'm just waiting for the sickness to kick in!

Yah when I first found out, for the first 2 week my boobs were incredibly sore! But now it's very on and off, it does worry me sometimes but then the next day I wake up and they feel really heavy and sore again Haha.

What other symptoms do you have?

Comps83 · 02/05/2019 08:12

A BFP . That’s it

Ok so I suggest calling 111 and seeing if you can get to an EPU. Make sure you tell them exactly what’s happened.

Comps83 · 02/05/2019 08:26

What? Seriously?

What?! Why does she need to call EPU?

Teddybear45 · 02/05/2019 08:35

I was told clearly by nurses / midwives / IVF clinics if you lose all your symptoms from the 6 week mark you should call 111. They often have a policy to refer to an EPU if they can.

Teddybear45 · 02/05/2019 08:36

Even if they don’t offer a scan they can check if the cervix is closed, do bloods etc

NuffingChora · 02/05/2019 08:41

Symptoms are so variable from day to day and pregnancy to pregnancy - I really wouldn’t be worrying at all. EPAU not needed!! If you started to have any worrying symptoms - abdominal pain, bleeding, etc, then by all means - but please try not to worry!!

I had incredibly sore boobs with my first, but like you this would vary from day to day sometimes. This time around, they’re massive but not sore at all. My nausea/vomiting symptoms have also been totally different this time round, and again have varied.

Redorangeyellowgreen · 02/05/2019 08:42

It's totally normal for symptoms to fluctuate in the first trimester.

WildFlower2019 · 02/05/2019 11:45

I woke up this morning worrying that my boobs didn't hurt (7+5) then bam, they started hurting a few hours later.

Try not and worry too much x

@Comps83 hey love, try not to worry. My boob pain has subsided a lot and I've even wondered am I still pregnant but you saw my scan yesterday. I don't think EPU is necessary at this stage just because your boobs don't hurt today. If you had more serious things like bleeding etc then fair enough but my boobs have quite literally been up and down for a couple weeks now xx
