Royal Surrey Vs Frimley Park hospital

Hello!
I'm moving GPs which means that I now have the choice of Royal Surrey or Frimley Park but I'm not sure which one to go with. I managed to dig out a thread from 2010 which I think is likely to be out of date and didn't really have an answer one way or the other, possible because they're both great?
We are also looking to have a Water birth so keen to know people's experiences in either hospital.
Thanks in advance!

Bekki

100% go with Frimley.

Their maternity unit is supposedly one of the best in the country. I can also pick between RSCH and Frimley and my GP advised me to go to Frimley.

I’m copying & pasting my post on another thread (Wexham vs Frimley)...

I’m going to Frimley as it got massive funding for redevelopment a few years back & has a stunning birthing suite, the Mulberry Suite. It actually looks like a spa with mood lighting, birth pool, double beds!! Obviously it’s dependant on availability and wouldn’t be a disaster if you couldn’t get in there as the labour ward is also very good and highly rated, but fingers crossed there is space in there as it really does look amazing.

Frimley definitely!! The Mulberry birthing centre is beautiful and the labour ward has also been recently redone so if you do require more intervention you still get a nice big room with en suite (in my experience last summer) Grin
