How accurate was it???

I've just had a 39 week scan booked in for me (in a couple of weeks) as I grow big babies but this one was borderline at my 36 scan.

Have you had any other scans? A obfw off scan will be less accurate than a series of them.
My one off at 42w was 2lb out but my serial scans this pregnancy were accurate... Baby as predicted at >95th centile and he was born at 99.7th.

Just the usual 12 and 20 and then the additional 36 week one and now will get another at 39 weeks. Bump measurements are off the chart but 36 week scan says on track for a 9lber (smaller than my first) but said baby was in a difficult position for measurements....

They're notoriously inaccurate. I measured over 8lb at 37 weeks, and they said I couldn't go overdue as he was going to be a 9lb baby and I'm small of frame. He was born at 7lb15.... e

Mine was accurate, predicted a big baby and she was huge!

Sonographer said that the measurements they took (not sure which ones they are and how they compare to others) are usually very accurate.

On the basis of the scan they agreed to a c section if I hadn't gone into labour before 41 weeks, but luckily she came at 40+5

I had one at 40 weeks. Predicted 7-8lb. He was born two days later at 10.5lb...

Dd was predicted to be 10lb+ came at 39+6 weighing 6lb11.

39 weeks on the nose measured 7lb 13oz... went home and washed some newborn sized clothes ... born at 39+3 8lb 15

Thanks all. You'd think after millions of births measuring babies would be more accurate by now!

I had a scan on my due date,they said 9lb 10oz and he was 10lb 6oz three says later.
