Dating scan by dates or baby size?

Had my dating scan today. All good except I am 5 weeks further along than my dates suggest.

Please no one go on about how pregnancy is dated from last period as I am aware of that and this is NOT the issue

My question is does this mean my baby is just a week bigger than it should be and therefore will be born a week earlier?

As if it is truly 14 weeks it would mean we ovulated and got pregnant a good few days before unprotected sex 🤣. This is not possible?!

For example it said week 2 started four days before we has sex. Is week 2 always ovulation date or is it possible I ovulated at 2 and a half weeks and luckily had sex that day?

Everything's an estimate at this stage. It sounds like you're certain about your dates, so go with that! Size doesn't dictate when baby will be born. "Full term" is anywhere between 37 and 42 wks, so it's a big window! Best of luck.

Dating scans aren't 100% accurate, they only give an estimated due date. That is the date they'll use on their paperwork, but babies rarely come on their due date anyway so just take it with a pinch of salt.

Even if baby is measuring ahead it doesn't mean it will arrive an earlier

Hi because I had my implantation removed they said my ovulation was all over the place so going by my dates I fell pregnant a day after my period went away so day 7ish
