Baby in same position for months + movements?

Hi
So since I could feel my baby she has been in exactly the same position. Head down (as feel hiccups low) but no idea what body parts stick out - huge bump left of belly button and one on side of body.

It's driving me mad because she never moves. I feel tiny squirming movements maybe 4 times a day. No kicking or anything ever.

Midwives can't tell exactly how she's laying either. I'm so bumpy. I press on the hard bits but she doesn't move.

Anyone else had the laziest baby ever? Should I be worried? Heartbeat is fine etc. But surely a healthy baby should move around a bit more than a couple of nudges a few times a day.

I'm 33 weeks and still hardly anything

Are you walking and doing exercises? I was told that’s how the baby moves and was given a list of ball exercises to do from 2nd trimester.

@Teddybear45 yep. Yoga, Pilates and swimming laps still...

I’m going through the same, definitely not getting as many movements as others and nothing really big, just little movements and mainly in the evening. My MW told me the baby was head down at ever appointment but last week I went for a scan and he/she is breech, been in the same position for months so must have always been breech. Not to confuse things but I also feel hiccups very low, I guess the whole baby must move with the hiccups! I’m 32 weeks

@Curlywurly3 hmm interesting. I have 2 very large lumps on either side of bump. Body parts... they never move even when feeling hiccups low so she's not changing positions at all. I just feel squiggles here and there. If that makes sense. I hate not feeling her move into different positions. Makes me nervous her brain hasn't developed properly or something 😣 but that's just silly of me I'm sure.

Yep! I worry about if her legs work or anything else. 38+1 was sent for a scan to see where she was because midwife thought breech. Shes fully engaged with her bum sticking up and out and her legs curved round and down. I just get little wiggles. Movements have always been in the same places pretty much since I could feel them, like 3 places x

@xJune88 I'm thinking this is my baby too. Bum sticking out full on just next toy bellybutton and legs over to side. That would explain the two lumps that distort my belly when laying on back. I'm getting severe trapped wind now and sheeting pains in rectum AND vagina so wondering if she's really low down now.. probably not engaged at 33weeks!! Oh the joys 🙂

Obviously not accurate but red is bum green are legs and purple is head. This is where my baby is aha and shes been like that for an extremely long time! It's so hard not to worry when were reminded and bombarded about reduced movements and patterns but my girl doesn't have a pattern at all she just does what she wants and keeps me on my toes!! Yeah when I lay on my back my bump is very one sided and has a mountain within in Haha x

Have you got an anterior placenta? My baby feels very low but scan shows she's breech and I too have hard lumps now and then. If the midwife isn't concerned I wouldn't be, I felt next to nothing until near 25 weeks.x

HJ82 · 30/04/2019 15:59

@xJune88 yes!! This is exactly mine!! The only part I really feel movement is the end of the green line 😂 sometimes the bum lifts up higher! Same position since 23 weeks. Lumps have just gotten larger 🙂

Yes me too hahaha I just see her bum moving up and down and pushing out must be a comfy position! X

@Justus22 nope, posterior. Next felt kicks once though. Just little movements here and there and hiccups
