40+4 spotting and cramping

Hi,

I think I lost my plug this morning followed by light red/pinkish discharge at different points throughout today. As well as quite painful period cramping but with no real pattern or anything and they stopped all together for a few hours earlier but are back now. Is this all normal or should I call triage? Worrying seeing blood! X

Sounds like the ‘bloody show’ which you get when labour is starting a mucus plug comes away but if you are worried call triage to put your mind at rest.
Sounds like your baby is on the way!
