I think I'm about 5 weeks pregnant. Had 2 prev MCs, not actively trying as I'm nearing 36 and had given up hope :( on the weekend I got drunk and did some cocaine with the girls, please don't judge me - I never thought I'd be writing these words, I'm having a hard time with my husband too so all round confusion

Do you regularly take drugs or was it a one off? You'll have to tell the midwife at the booking appointment if you wish to continue she'll be able to tell you if it has affected anything.

I take cocaine maybe 2-3 times a year and to be honest it wasn't a great amount I just wish I hadn't done it.
I'm gonna wait a few weeks to book in at Mw as I've had 2 mcs in the last 15 months and 1 about 5 year ago so not holding out much hope if I'm honest x

Fingers crossed for you then 😊. At this stage the baby isn't connected to you yet so how much passed onto baby should be little but I'm not a doctor.
Also congrats.

Also if you've had previous mc they might want to see you sooner do a scan

Baby isn’t connected to you yet the placenta isn’t attached or fully formed for a few weeks yet, obviously it’s recommended not to now you know but am sure lots of people smoke, drink etc before they are aware x

It will be fine but please don't do it again as it's just not worth risking it. Congrats x
