Hi everyone,

I'm 16+5 and was wondering if anyone has experienced this.

Last year I was diagnosed with PCOS and would get ovulation pain when ovulating from my right ovary aswell as pain from the right side throughout the month.. which is why I went to the drs in the first place.

I'm not sure if this could be related at all, but it seems every month when my period should be due if I wasn't pregnant I am getting pain from this side. I feel it when I roll over in bed, aswell as when I put pressure on the area, it's tender.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Hi @Becky6X,
I don't have PCOS, but after coming off the pill I had a lot of cysts in my ovaries and I was on borderline of being diagnosed with PCOS.
Now I am 12+5 weeks pregnant and also sometimes experiencing pain on one of my sides (right side as well, and it was usually hurting during period and ovulation).
I had a scan, talked to midwife and GP about it, but all of them told me it's ok, long as it's not a shap pain. Midwife was telling me that that side might be more sensitive due to cysts and I can feel round ligament pain more on that side.

@Rotorua this makes me feel so much better thank you!

I always say I will tell my midwife and when my appointments come round I don't have the pain so forget!

I will definitely mention it the next time around thank you x
