38 weeks pregnant and so fed up

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and so fed up.. every night I'm getting sharp stabbing pains through my vagina and my back is aching and this has been happening for about 4 nights. I have really bad SPD and the pelvic pain is becoming unbareable. I can't keep my eyes open longer than 8pm..

I'm just so ready for this baby to come!
It's my second but with my first I was Induced so didn't naturally go into labour so I'm not really sure what to expect and when to expect it.. am I just experiencing BH and how long will this go on before labour starts😭

I also am so hormonal at the minute and the littlest thing stresses me out. My DD has become a terrible sleeper and will not fall asleep on her own and wakes up 3-4 times a night, she's 18 months.. I'm trying to keep her in her routine so when baby is here she doesn't keep doing this but then I sometimes sit and think these are the last few weeks I can cherish her and give her all my attention and cuddles before a new baby arrives .. guilty

So I just want to know how I'll know when I go into labour and if worrying about not being able to give DD so much attention is daft

Also 38 weeks so totally get you, have also never gone into natural labour and am slightly sceptical about the logistics of it all.

This is my 3rd and I have a similar gap to you for my first two, it was hard work but they are both currently entertaining each other whilst I sit grumbling about how fat and heavy I am. I’m now worried about having a child who won’t have a sibling so close in age!!

It's so hard in the final weeks.
My children have never self settled at bedtime until the next one has arrived. My dh was very helpful at that point! Now expecting #4 and Dd whos almost three still lies with me until she drifts off. Just trying to enjoy the cuddles!
