I was the same, I got a small bump just after 21 weeks. With regard to movement, I didn't feel much at that stage. I was told at my 20 week scan than I have an anterior placenta so his makes it harder to feel baby moving. I'm 24 weeks now and really only feel some movements at night, and occasionally during the day e.g after a cold drink/sugar,

I didn’t start to have a bump until fairly late on, think it was around 28 weeks I started to actually show. But I felt movement fairly early for a first time, around 14 weeks which I’ve been told was unusual. Can you not call your midwife and ask for a foetal heartbeat check? To stop you worrying

I’m 18+6 and I haven’t felt any movement yet either. I spoke to my midwife in the week and she wasn’t concerned at all. I think it’s fairly normal to not feel anything by 18 weeks, especially if it’s your first. You may also have an anterior placenta which will muffle movements. Maybe speak to your midwife if you’re concerned though for some reassurance. Smile

With my first I didn't get any real hint of a bump until 20 weeks and movements a week or so after that. Please done worry yet!

FraggleRocking · 27/04/2019 18:53

I’m quite tall, normal BMI, had no bump at 18 weeks, then at about 21 it just sort of appeared. First movement was a bit before at between 19/20 weeks.

I didn't feel baby move till after my 20 week scan, currently 29 weeks and she's wiggling away as I write this.

Is this your first pregnancy?

You probably have felt it move but just didn’t register it

At first it honestly feels like gas bubbles, or even butterflies in the stomach.

But if you still haven’t felt that, no panic. You will feel it soon enough

Babycakes1989 · 27/04/2019 19:07

I’m the same if it helps! 19 weeks tomorrow, first pregnancy that’s got this far and I’ve felt nothing which makes me think baby movement yet just the odd twitch sensation. I also haven’t got a massive bump some days I just look fat! Keep the faith wont be long! Xx

First time I didn't have a bump until about 19-20 weeks. I didn't feel movement until about 24 weeks. Midwife wasn't concerned at all. I did have an anterior placenta as well.
