Hi!
Sorry to sound so negative but what are the chances of miscarriage after a 3+ on a clear blue digital test.
Super paranoid about my first pregnancy!
Thank you in advance!

A 3+ means you are likely to be at least 5 weeks. So miscarriage is still a very real possibility, pregnancy tests cannot tell you if the pregnancy is viable or not. Unfortunately there's no way of knowing for sure, just got to take it day by day. Congratulations

Not to worry you but I got 3+ with my last pregnancy when I expected to as had been testing every other day with clearblue digital and the pregnancy ended up being an ectopic so you can never really tell what's going to happen

I'm 5+2 today and still getting 2-3 weeks - if I don't get 3+ tomorrow I'm expecting this pregnant will also end in miscarriage x

@miracleon13th
Did you have any other signs of your periodic pregnancy?
This wait is a thousand times worst than the TWW!

@miracleon13th sorry that should have read ectopic not periodic! Silly autocorrect!

This may reassure you or may worry you more.

1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage so u fortunately the chance is still pretty high.

Good luck with your pregnancy 💐

If only there was a test that would show you how viable your pregnancy is likely to be!

Sadly during the first few weeks the embryo is going through huge changes and development so plenty of situations where it could go wrong.

When you are 12 weeks your chances of mc drop off a cliff.

However, you do have a 3 out of 4 chance of carrying a happy healthy baby which is still more likely.

Years ago we wouldn't have found out our been so sure of pregnancy so people would never have known for sure. Now we can tell much earlier on so unfortunately know earlier in as well.

So... The worry is natural. But don't let it consume you.

The worry is of course a normal thing, but try and remind your self you have higher chances of having a healthy pregnancy than a miscarriage. Also I highly reccomend this web sight

I believe another poster had mentioned it as well, it has really helped me control my anxiety. And it's so nice to see the percentage get lower every day!
Good luck.

Thank you everyone for your replies!
I am trying to relax and be positive but it is tricky!
My husband got told he had really poor sperm morphology a few months ago so that's panicking me more, and my sister had a miscarriage last year so I'm now worrying if there's a genetic link!
Having an early scan next week.... 🤞🏻 It goes to plan!!! Xx
