Bump not getting bigger

I am 18 weeks tomorrow and my bump doesn't seem to be getting bigger for the past few weeks. I am also not yet feeling the baby move.
Am I just being overly worried?

Phone your midwife - she can measure your bump (not the most accurate but she'll be able to see if it has grown) and she'll also be able to listen in with a Doppler. All the best, I'm sure it's nothing..

I'm 18 weeks and not got a bump. And movements for me feel like gas bubbles. If worried call midwife. But I'm sure all ok

You're too early for them to start measuring so don't worry about it. My midwife didn't do the Doppler till 25 weeks either. Iv just got a small bump at 27 weeks so don't panic everyone's different.

I didn't have much of a bump or movements at 8 weeks either Smile midwife didn't measure me til 25 weeks either but did do heartbeat as a routine thing at appointments from16 weeks.

You could phone your midwife office and see if you can nip in for a heartbeat listen, you're meant to phone maternity triage after 16 weeks here but when I phoned at 23 weeks they still sorted me out to see midwife rather than trekking to the hospital as they would only have done heartbeat there as well at that point. They may not even offer that as you're early for bump and movements (might say don't worry unless any bleeding or pain) but hopefully for the sake of a 5 minute process they'll be able to fit you in.

18 weeks, I mean! Obviously not at 8 weeks 😂

I’m 18 weeks 5 days with my first & I’ve had no movements yet that I know of. I have had anxiety at the moment & it’s fuelling that tbh! Bump wise I’ve noticed that in the last week it’s a little harder & higher but not really noticeable - everyone’s said I’m not really showing yet (see photo ) but I’m naturally size 18 with generally flatter tummy that rest of my body & my mum didn’t have big bumps either. Try not to worry as everyone’s so different!! I have a friend who’s a week in front of me and has a blooming big beautiful bump & she’s feeling baby turn and kick ! It’s her 2nd. Listening to the heartbeat is definitely reassuring so speak to your midwife! Xx
