Insomnia, anyone else? (6 weeks)

Hi all,

As you can see from the time I'm posting this, I am really waiting for the exhaustion to kick in where everyone in early pregnancy is supposed to be able to sleep any time of day because they're so tired.

Sadly, this isn't the case for me and I have been up at 4am every day since I found out 2 weeks ago and now cramps, nausea and needing a wee are kicking in at this time like clockwork.

Anyone else?

I'm 4 weeks and waking up at 4.30 every morning since I found out, get waves of tiredness during the day but the non-sleepy tiredness if that makes sense! No other symptoms yet apart from tummy twinges.

I realised that I slept so well in the first trimester because I was taking antiemetics, which are actually antihistimines, and when I stopped taking them at about 15 weeks I was also hit by insomnia which hasn't gone away. I'm 18w+4 now.

I've always suffered to some extent but with the pregnancy I'm fine dropping off, it's waking up early that's the problem. Restless legs are making it much worse Sad
