Funnelling of the cervix

I'm so heartbroken and worried 😢
Had my 20 week scan today and I was told there is funnelling of my cervix. My first two babies where premature at 33 and 34 weeks. But my last 3 babies were all overdue. They are giving me progesterone to insert vaginally to make sure I don't have contractions but if I go into Labour any time soon my baby dies
In so sad. It's the last thing I need. I feel like it's punishment because my husband wanted me to have an abortion.

So sorry to hear this op , i was on your previous threads about your husband and had wondered how you were doing

I dont know much about this but I assume you will be having extra check ups etc?

I'm no expert but I have been told progesterone can help to keep your cervix long and closed (I'm taking it myself). Has anyone mentioned a cervical stitch to you? It could be an option for you to help prevent premature labour. It may depend on individual circumstances but certainly worth asking the question. Can you ring the hospital and ask to speak to the dr you saw today? Best of luck.
