hi everyone! just wanted some advice i did the tests as me and my husband have been trying for a baby for 6 months now. i started to feel tired and decided to do a test, now the first was a cheap asda one, it came up with a very! faint positive so the next day i went and brought the clear blue digi, i did 2 of them the same day and they both said pregnant 1-2 weeks! so i rang the doctors and dropped a next morning wee sample down, my husband being a man still was unsure so i brought more test so i tried the first response 2 of them and brought 2 more normal clear blue all of them were positive, rang the doctors today and they are saying its negitive, i got my self so excited now i just wanna cry,, any advice?

The only thing you can do is wait. If you are pregnant then the tests will show it. However, the Dr may not have a particularly sensitive test, so you may need to ask them again in a week to retest if your home tests still show positive.

I'm assuming this isn't in the UK? I've never needed to provide a sample at my Dr to get tested, we've just waited until we are about 6 weeks and then booked into see the MW.

I've heard that the tests that the doctors surgery use are less sensitive as some of the brands a lot of folk use. Which brand have you been using @DAISYOXOX?

Sorry, I've just properly read your post. Distracted by cooking dinner. If you've used a clear blue positive and FRER then congratulations, i'd go with the results of that.

If you are only 1-2 weeks on a clear blue then it’s probably too early for the doctor’s test to be positive. They use cheaper, less sensitive ones. Give it a week and if your home test is positive again then get them to retest you.

Doctors use less sensitive cheapo tests that generally only show positive at 5/6 weeks. Sounds like you are very early on. Six positive tests would not be wrong. Try not to worry (difficult I know!)
