Fundal height chart

Hi all
Second pregnancy and my midwife has told me that now they plot your fundal height on a 'personal growth chart' rather than going by the old cm/week of gestation theory.

My question is, does anyone else's chart seem to be unreasonable? According to my growth chart median line I should only measure 27cm at 28 weeks and so on. Seems very small considering I have a very short torso! I remember in my last pregnancy I was always the exact cm to week of gestation and there were no concerns where as now 2 years later I am classed as 90th centile!

How is it for others?

Most trusts now do personalised growth chart plotting, but ultimately it's still as inaccurate as ever. It doesn't matter where on the graph you are, as long as you roughly follow a line. They really can't tell from the measurement how big your baby is going to be, but they can track it to make sure you are growing in a relatively steady way. If your bump grows too quickly or too slowly, they'll send you off to check everything is alright. I'd really not worry too much about the measurement, just that it's following a line!

Thanks @Laburna that’s very helpful and reassuring. I am following the line so that makes me feel better.
