Stretch marks.... down there?

Hi all...

Coming towards the end of my pregnancy and I've noticed some severely red stretch marks at the top half of my vagina Blush

Has anyone else had this? I'm embarrassed by them and think they look awful, no one ever talks about getting them down there? I know that every part of the body can grow in pregnancy, but my vagina actually looks swollen and the stretch marks look awful.

Any tips and advice? Or some comforting words?

I use bio oil on my stomach at the minute so will start to use it down there too. I'm hoping it's just because the baby's head is low.

Thanks in advance x

I think you mean your vulva. Your vagina is the internal passage.

The part below your belly, sorry

Yes! I'm almost 38 weeks and I've noticed the stretch marks down there too. They are unpleasant and I hope they will fade after birth

I swore by Palmers coco butter on both my pregnancies, bio oil made my skin dry & itchy believe it or not.
Stretch marks can pop up anywhere! I had none through my pregnancies, but from a teenager have them behind my calves.

I have 3 big stretch marks in the same place. That kinda thing happens when you have babies nothing to be embarrassed about. X

I have a deep one straight down the center.
It looks like a pube comb over.
They do fade eventually but don't disappear.

I have 3 there and sorey but they're are slightly noticeable still after 4 years but I have light brown skin so maybe mine are more so because of that?
I didn't even notice them til my dd was 1!

@thequeef ‘pube combover’ 😂 ya!

Yeah, I've got one. Didn't know about it until I gave birth though because I didn't see any of my stretch marks until I'd given birth... And I used to stand in front of the mirror every day and have a look to see if I had any.

FWIW though it faded quickly for a deep red one. Never used Bio oil or anything like that. Just faded by itself.

It was weird at first and upset me but then DH didn't care, never said anything about them, and only tells me to shut up when I bring them up. He keeps reminding me they're a reminder of DS and it's natural.
