Implantation Bleeding

Hi ladies [ducks head in from the TTC boards]..

I was just wondering if any of you had implantation bleeding with your pregnancies and if you did what it was like and for how long?

I guess I'm hoping AF hasn't arrived and it is implantation bleeding.. so any of your stories would be gratefully received.

it was only a spot of watery blood for me. Hope it's good news for you.

I had a bit of bright red spotting....no more than a teaspoonful then a bit of brown discharge.....it lasted about a day.

I thought it was my period. It was red from the start, more than just a liner could cope with and lasted about 4 days.

Wow Mimicakey! That gives me real hope! Mine was about 2 pads and lasted a day and half.. mmm - getting my hopes up now

For me it was a few wipes of light pinkish watery blood and that was all. Fingers crossed for you

I know, it's so weird! I just assumed my body was a bit confused because I hadn't been off the pill that long and that it was my period. I didn't know about implantation bleeds then!

For my first I had implementation bleeding and I just thought it was my period (I even used a tampon!). It was pinkish/brown. After it stopped after 1 day I started to get a bit suspiscous especially since I still had cramps and moodiness. I did a test et voila!

The second time I didn't get any at all. I was about 3 days late for my period, did a test and pregnant again. Then at about week 5ish I did have implentation bleeding and I thought it was the end of the pregnancy. It was only brown though, lasted about 2 days and then I did another test - all fine. I am now 16 weeks pregnant.

Sorry forgot to say I really hope all is well, and if it is implementation bleeding then lots of relaxing and laying down can't do any harm.

Mine was just a drop of blood, I'm suprised I even found it to be honest.

mine was just pinkish but it was on and off for a few days.

Thanks everyone for your info! I think mine may have just been a very light AF.. oh well there is always next month!

It may be best to take a test just to be sure - I was 100% convinced that my first experience of implementation bleeding was AF, but it wasn't!

Gemy - what was your implantation bleeding like? How long after the bleeding did you show up positive? [start getting hopes again]

sorry just scrolled down and re-read - was getting excited there..

mine was just pink streaked cm every time I wiped for 2 days. Happened about 1 week post ov. Got a faint BFP 3 days later and a BFP on clearblue digital 4 days later.

Sorry toomuchtimeonline, have been so busy at work had no time to log on.

Anyway, mine was honastly quite like when your period first arrives (for me, I get more of a pinky-brown period and then the day after I get proper blood) and my implementation bleeding was like day 1 of my period (before the actual blood) It was period-enough like the first time to fool me into thinking it was my period and the second time I got it later, and had already done the test.

I for the BFP result about 3-4 days after it finished. I was still crampy and moody and generally still felt like PMT. So, juat thought I'd do a test!

How are you feeling? done a test? Still feeling PMTish?
