Yes I am on 10mg citalopram. I stoped taking them for a week or so when I found out I was pregnant but I had terrible side effects and the midwife thought I'd be better off on them. I've weighed up the risks (hardly any to be honest) and decided this is best for me and my family. Are you already on something OP?

I came off mine but starting to think I shouldn’t have
Quite often feels like my brain isn’t catching up with my head when I move it
I also feel like ripping DHs head off over the slightest thing

I just started taking prozac and I'm twenty weeks

I was on citalopram before I fell pregnant, and came off it. I am now 19 weeks and really struggling with anxiety and panic attacks xx

I'm taking Sertraline, but have reduced it really slowly. Down from 75mg to 25mg in 7 weeks. I'm hoping to drop to 0mg in a few more weeks. I've had some withdrawal symptoms like head buzzes when I move my head quickly and usually get it in the morning. Plus my mood is lower but I'm monitoring it. If you want to reduce it do it really really slowly.

I was on citalopram pre pregnancy. Came off it when ttc. Now on sertraline since 20 weeks pregnant and find it is just as good for me in levelling off my anxiety.

Spoke to the lead neonatal specialist at our local hospital (family friend) and he has only seen a handful of cases where baby had side effects from SSRIs and he said all were mild and all the mothers were on very high doses.

If you feel you need them then in my opinion it is best to take them.
