Currently 37 weeks and been umming and arring about whether to bother or not. I'm quite an anxious person but going into it with an open mind and will take whatever pain relief I need and whatever happens, happens. I was going to do a hypnobirthing course but the cost is extortionate so defo not doing that. Just wondering if anyones done the digital pack, was it worth it? I'm just interested in breathing techniques and dealing with things calmly which I'm aware will possibly go out of the window when in labour Haha. Thanks 🙂

Its absolutely worth it! I went from being shitscared of giving birth to kind of looking forward to it! I'm only 33 weeks so still a while to go but it has completely changed my mindset, and although I can't control what happens on the day I'm feeling confident about at least going into it feeling positive and calm. If you are 37 weeks I suggest getting it asap and binge watching the videos - they are really easy to watch, lots of short 5-10 min vids, plus some mp3s you can download and bits and bobs like that. Good luck!

I’m still working through the digital pack (probably should crack on we I’m 39 weeks now!) and have to say it’s been really helpful for me. I feel a lot less nervous about giving birth and much more informed.

Like you I wanted the relaxation/breathing techniques which have been great, but the science part of the it has been really helpful too.

They have an app which is a bit like a contraction timer but has some of the guided relaxations too which you could try first, it’s called Freya. There are also some taster videos on their YouTube channel 🙂

Yes, I’ve found it excellent. We shall see what happens when I actually give birth but it’s worked as far as making me feel very positive!

Ooo thankyou all that's good enough for me! Will buy tonight. On maternity now so aslong as she doesn't come too early I have plenty of time 🙂x

Purchased and half way through the science part. I am hooked it makes so much sense, just to be aware how the body works and how to help it. Thanks girls x

100% worth it, I thought it was amazing.

Also, a hypnobirthing book by Sophie fletcher I loved too.

@xJune88 I've just finished it this evening - you posting about it spurred me on to get finished! Glad you're finding it useful.

I really like the affirmations - great to drift off to sleep to! I got the Teachable app so I can get all the mp3's on my phone too Smile.

I spoke on here a few weeks ago about how much I'm dreading labour and it was recommended to me by so many mums here. Pay day has just arrived so I'm purchasing it today Grin

Definitely recommend you watch it with your birth partner too. Despite having completed an NCT class a few months ago, the PBC digital pack raised lots of other questions for us too. We have since altered our birth preferences accordingly.
