I am 5 weeks + 2 days but i dont feel pregnant and its worrying me.. no nausea, no sickness, no fatigue, no sore breasts, no increased weeing.. nothing. I keep looking at my tests to assure myself i am actually pregnant! Has anyone else felt like this?

It’s more common than you’d think, I posted pretty much the same with my first. Didn’t feel pregnant with either of them until they started kicking, and the heartburn kicked in. You’ll be told to count yourself lucky but it can certainly send the paranoia into overdrive! Congratulations!

Honeybee85 · 24/04/2019 15:45

I had the same thing.
Dont worry - it will come!

Heartburn started with me after about 12 weeks.
Extreme fatigue kicked in at week 26

snowflakeeel · 24/04/2019 15:47

Didn't know I was pregnant with my second until 6 weeks. Enjoy it :-) X

Narya · 24/04/2019 15:47

Yup I had that with DC1 - I had pretty much zero symptoms until I started to get a bump and feel kicks! I was convinced my 12 week scan would show nothing there, but all was well.

Congratulations Flowers

I didn't feel pregnant for ages with any of mine. Only in the much later months.
but I never got sickness, only felt tired around 7-9 months, breasts must have felt swollen towards the end but don't recall soreness, and agin increased weeing came much, much later but never overtly.

FaithEloise · 24/04/2019 16:07

Thankyouu🥰..
Its reassuring that im not the only one, i guess i should count myself lucky i havent got sickness yet!xx

Leleophants · 24/04/2019 17:11

This was my post a few months ago! Totally normal and enjoy it.

glitterbomb13 · 24/04/2019 17:26

I'm the same if I had not have been 1 week late with my period I wouldn't have bothered testing ! 😂

ncadx · 24/04/2019 17:33

My symptoms kicked massively at 6-7 weeks!

Iamthecaptainnow · 24/04/2019 17:36

This was me a few weeks ago with DC2 and on Sunday night I was getting advice on here to see my GP for possible HG. Honestly, enjoy it while it lasts!!! Symptoms bear pretty much no relation to the health of the pregnancy. Good luck!

Comps83 · 24/04/2019 17:43

I’m 5 weeks and I’ve got nothing but sore boobs
I didn’t really get periods due to mini pill so tbh I keep forgetting I’m pregnant!
Fingers crossed it stays like this as long as the baby’s ok. Though I’m sure Ill start chucking up soon

frightenedandexcited · 24/04/2019 18:12

Like others have said, just wait! I started one of these threads at 4 weeks stressing as I hadn't any symptoms. 6 weeks it all kicked off! Queasiness, sickness, extreme exhaustion... Though I hope you don't get it that that bad.

Good luck Flowers

FaithEloise · 24/04/2019 18:31

Thankyou everyone! I guess im just worrying this time round for some reason x

fonxey · 24/04/2019 18:32

I'm 6 weeks exactly and feel mostly the same! A bit naseous now and again i suppose but i could just be feeling hungry. Or is just in my head!

I don't feel tired really... Maybe just get tired quicker? Meh...i just don't feel pregnant.

I used to not want children due to a vomiting phobia which i got over after a large bout of vomiting.

Now i want to vomit!

Does make me worry...

Mammyofasuperbaby · 24/04/2019 18:38

Thank you for posting this.
I'm 5+6 weeks and apart from being a little tired I have next to no symptoms.
With dc1 I was a mess and was the same with dc2 until they suddenly went and we sadly lost that one.
So understandably my anxiety is through the roof but reading this has been reasuring

FaithEloise · 25/04/2019 08:36

I woke up at 4am with bad cramps like period cramp feeling, i couldnt get comfy or sleep. I still have them now but not as bad. So im worrying, has anyone else felt like this?

@fonxey how did you get over your emetophobia? I have it, and wanting advice from someone who's tackled it!

fonxey · 25/04/2019 08:59

@LKH27 catch a bad stomach bug and spend all day vomiting and pooping because you eventually learn that holding the vomit back makes you feel worse for longer! So you give in and just hang your head over a bucket... After i stopped blubbering for hours trying not to throw up i felt so much better.

Shock therapy lol.

LKH27 · 25/04/2019 09:03

@fonxey yeah, I think I'm good for now then! haha

User12879923378 · 25/04/2019 09:14

Normal! I had no symptoms until week 7/early week 8 and then I was actually sick daily until 16 or 18 weeks, and carried on being a bit nauseous right up until she came out.

Iamthecaptainnow · 25/04/2019 17:41

Honestly OP, the sooner you accept that nothing means anything and symptoms will be what they will be- the happier and more relaxing you'll find the pregnancy. For any symptom, you'll find someone who had it and had a healthy outcome, someone who didn't have a healthy outcome, and someone who didn't have the symptom. It's going to be a long 9 months otherwise!

Itsallwhite · 27/04/2019 15:32

I'm 28 weeks and I've found the whole thing totally easy. Nothings really changed apart from my huge bump and the amazing feeling when baby moves but I just don't have anything to moan about :)
