Light red spotting after sex

I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant and have continued to have sex all throughout this pregnancy with no problems!
Three days ago we had sex and after I noticed a tiny little red spot on the tissue after wiping, it was just that and nothing more and I didn’t have any bleeding or spotting after. Didn’t have sex because of it for a few days until tonight and I’ve had it again afterwards light tiny red spots after wiping!
It’s red so I’m assuming it’s fresh spotting, it’s only really light and tiny but I’m now worried I’ve done something to harm the baby! Definitely put me off sex now, wondering if this is common or anyone has any suggestions as to why this is happening

When you're pregnant there is increased blood to the cervix which means that spotting can happen after sex. I'd still double check with your midwife that it's ok to continue as you are x

I used to have this, my cervix was just slightly irritated and inflamed. Everything was fine though x

Exact same thing happened to me. Initially it was just a few drops, then it was more of a reddish brownish blob (tsp of blood) and now I have brown spotting pretty much every day.

My OB said cervix is really sensitive during pregnancy and sometimes it gets irritated during intercourse. Also, some women develop polyps which tend to bleed if irritated. My OB found a 1.5cm polyp which is causing the spotting for me.
