New thread :) Hopefully this one brings us as much luck as the April Bus.

I'm going for a vair naice dinner on Friday, where we are going to book our reception, so dp can try the food. I'm betting I come down so sick I can't eat anything 😂

Just booked our early scan!!! Saturday at 10.30!! I'm so excited

Just been to doctor he saying I'm roughly 4 weeks pregnant!!! 🤰 😁🙏🌈, feel so sick today ugh toast my friend in the morning lol

Nausea is getting worse!!
That’s so exciting having a date for first scan. I have mine on Monday. I’ll be 6+4. Not sure how much we’ll see but my doctor wanted me in early coz of mc last time. Excited/nervous!!

I can't wait!!! I just hope everything is all good.

@Bubblebubble123 Have you tried ginger biscuits? I felt so ill the other day, until really late, I couldn't sleep. I'm going to get some to keep in the cupboard. I don't like ginger but apparently the biscuits are the most palatable and work for some people.

@Katy34 That's great your GP would get involved, mine won't even see you for pregnancy just give your a letter with the midwives details on it.

How is everyone today?

My hand has gone numb for some reason. I woke up in the night for a wee and just thought I'd been laying on it but when i got up this morning, it was still like it and it hasn't gone away. Its like before pins & needles kick in.

I'm currently umming and ahhing about whether i'm going to leave work to get it looked at. I was about to a while ago but it seemed to be better, now its back how it was, bad again

My booking appointment is on Monday and I'm so excited. I can't wait to have confirmation that it's not all in my head.

@ELJ1502 That is so exciting! It's quite long apparently. Let us know how it goes.

@Eliza9919 yeah my gp was quite good, I'm just waiting to hear about my booking appointment contacted our local midwife unit so just waiting on them phoning me back to arrange appointment, mean while maybe you or someone else on here can tell me, I have been having like a dull ache in my lower stomach every now and then have you or anyone else on here had this? Is this normal? Morning sickness has really kicked in now along with some cravings ( sitting eat chips cheese and curry sauce right now and feel like I'm in heaven, even though I know I should have reached for an apple or something else, but dang it I have been wanting this for days!!!)

I should probably explain why it says again lol, well I'm 34 and Andee is 54, we have been together ten years this December, he has 4 grown up children who all have children of there own, so he has 10 grandchildren, who have all called me granny( since I was 24) so I was a granny before a mammy is my little joke, so that's why I got andee a t-shirt with again on it 😂

Just got back from the clinic. By my dates I'm 7+0 today. The scan just showed the sac and yolk and she put it at 5 weeks and booked us in for next Saturday.

I'm convinced it's all over.

@Eliza9919 stay positive hunny, it could just be that your dates are wrong somewhere 🤞🙏, prayers for you xx

They can't be really, I had a scan and was told I'd ovulate within 24hrs.

@Eliza9919 just try and stay positive you never know, wait and see what your next scan finds 🤞🙏

I've read loads of stories online where people have been told the same and it's all worked out 🤞

@Eliza9919 babies grow at different rates, that's why due dates are only an estimate. If they've booked you in for another next week, they must still be optimistic so try to stay positive too.

I asked her how do we know whether it's just dated wrong or whether it stopped growing and she said we don't, we have to wait til next week to see.

My sister said she had the same with her first. And we were all small babies, I was 2lb 12oz. We were all born at about 6m though.

I'm just concerned about the reduction of symptoms and now this, although I do still have some symptoms but they can stick around for about 2m after a MC.

I did an internet cheapie earlier and it came up positive very quickly and a good strong line, but I dont know how long you get that for if you've mc'd.

When your at work (night shift) and your work colleagues look at you like your nuts cause you come in the office munching a whole raw carrot, my reply " what? I fancied sone carrot" and all you get in reply is the laughing 😂

I have the ovia app and this showed up today (8weeks). It makes it feel so much more real, but strange to think there is an actual baby there.
