New thread :) Hopefully this one brings us as much luck as the April Bus.

Thank you. We went to the hospital this morning, they did one more scan, and the sac has started to shrink and change shape. No more growth so it's all confirmed for definite now. They are going to call me back later with a date to go in for the surgical management but that will probably be over a week until I can go in. There was a little bit of pink on the tissue after I wiped after the scan so things may be starting to happen on their own.

Hope you’re getting plenty of support from loved ones. It would be good I suppose if it started naturally. The pink on the tissue sounds like how my mc started a few months back. I had 2 days where I got faint pink when I wiped, 2 days of brown/red spotting/streaks like discharge. And then the following day a proper bleed. It’s probably different for everyone tho.

My miscarriage at the beginning of this year was completely different - I went from nothing to severe cramping and going through pads in the space of about an hour so it is different for everyone.

I know it means nothing to you at the moment @Eliza9919 but I got a lot of comfort talking to other women about their experiences - miscarriage is such a taboo subject that it can make you feel very alone - it really upsets me that people don’t talk about it because it makes it seem shameful in a way - even though it is so so common. Though I do understand everyone goes through things differently.

I had some cramps from early Saturday evening to Sunday afternoon and pink after the scan then slightly more last time I went to the loo.

Epu just rang and have booked me in as an emergency slot for Wednesday. They originally booked me for Monday but that's my bday.

How's everyone else doing anyway? Let's cheer the thread up a bit.

@Eliza9919 hey I'm doing a lot better now thankfully, showing signs that af might be on the way, but will have to wait and see as doctor said it could take 4-6 for my cycles to get back to normal since mc, hope I'm right as doc also said to wait until i have af before we try again, how are you doing? 💐

@Katy34 I'm about to go to the hospital for the d&c but I'm wondering if they will still do it, the sac came out complete this morning so hopefully they won't.

Yes thank you, much better physically than yesterday. They didn't do the d&c as they agreed what came our was whole. I have to do a test in 2 weeks and let them know if it's still positive.

@Eliza9919 hope you are ok, I'm just getting ready to go to hospital as have to go for test to confirm mc is complete and if not getting scan, hopefully everything is ok and don't have to go for d&c

@Eliza9919 just back from hospital, thankfully everything fine so don't need a d&c think my bf was more worried than me, so just need to let my body and cycles get back to normal then we can try again

Hi everyone, so we finally had our 12 week scan today and we have a healthy 12 + 2 baby.

@SqigglyOne I was just smiling ear to ear. I was so worried going in, it was a massive relief. We only got to see the heartbeat but not hear it. You could see it really easily though, like a fluttering on the screen. My partner was just gobsmacked and didn't really know what to say or do.

@ELJ1502 aw that’s great news!! So great to be at this stage. You can relax a bit now. Are you planning a big announcement now?

I’m 10+4 and was in again with my consultant today. I saw baby moving around and it really finally hit me that there’s a baby in there!! Lol. Up to now it just looked like a lump with a flickering heartbeat. It’s the first time i really allowed myself to get excited about this pregnancy. I’ll prob go back to worrying again tomorrow but it was nice to have that excitement for today!! I feel I owe it to the new baba!!!

@Bubblebubble123 I've had a major panic about whether everything was okay or not, so it has relaxed me big style. I thought exactly the same. I didn't realise there would be a real wiggling baby there.

We've contacted close family and friends this afternoon and I'm going to tell people in my department tomorrow. We're planning a social media post to let extended family and old work friends etc but not until we've told everyone properly first. I also had the combined blood tests which you hear about within three days if there is a high risk. I'm thinking of waiting the three days first, not that it would change anything, but it's extra preparation.

@ELJ1502 @Bubblebubble123 hope you are all doing well and everything going ok with your pregnancy's, I just got some amazing news turns out I'm pregnant again! Didn't think it would happen that quick so still in shock! Only found out at 5pm today so going to arrange doctor appointment ASAP to see if the can check to see if everything ok so far!!

@ELJ1502 thanks trying not to get excited but it's difficult not to just really scared and anxious incase something goes wrong again!
