It's not till the 10th of June. I'll be 12+1 which isn't too bad really as the midwife said she thought it wouldn't be till 13 weeks.

When is your next scan @Eliza9919

Bubblebubble123 · 26/05/2019 20:40

I’m definitely gonna need maternity wear soon too. All my clothes are snug. We had a family event yday and I’m pretty sure everyone is suspecting I’m pregnant coz I was so bloated and it was a really hard bloat like I couldn’t suck in to appear slimmer. Anyway not to worry, they’ll all know soon enough so they can wonder till then!
I have another scan tomorrow. My doc wants to keep an eye coz I had the mc last time. But I think after this scan it’ll be my proper booking in appointment at 12/13 weeks.
Eliza9919, glad to hear you’re staying positive and so you should. Little baba is growing in there! Have everything crossed for you that all is well!

Eliza9919 · 26/05/2019 20:42

That's my bday!

Next scan is next Saturday and probably (hopefully) the one after too.

Where did you get your maternity jeans from? I was going to get some leggings from m&s but I actually need to drop out the junk and bread and might lose a bit instead 😂

@Bubblebubble123 I've really struggled with my clothes. I feel like I've already got a bump and it's really obvious in my normal clothes.

@Eliza9919 at least they are properly monitoring you. 🙂 I found a small selection in New Look. They have all their normal jeans in maternity and they do them in tall too. I got them in my normal size and they are so comfortable.

Hey ladies hope you are all doing well, I had something really beautiful happen today and just had to share it with you all, as you know I had my miscarriage confirmed on the 23rd, well I have been a spiritualist since my mid teens and have always believed that we all have our own guardian angels and that our loved ones continues to watch over us even after they pass, well two days ago I said a little prayer asking for my guardian angels and my family to look after the baby we lost and to give me a sign that he/she was safe and with them( specifically I asked for them to send me a white feather to let me know) well... today on my way to work a beautiful white feather landed on my shoulder!!! So I can honestly say I'm healing from the loss and that I know our baby is ok and being looked after by loved ones, I know this might sound strange to some of you, but that single feather has brought me and my bf so much comfort!! @ELJ1502 @Eliza9919 @Bubblebubble123 @SquigglyOne

SquigglyOne · 31/05/2019 06:58

@Katy34 that brought a tear to my eye - how beautiful xxx

Eliza9919 · 31/05/2019 09:07

That's so lovely @Katy34.

I am hoping someone is looking out for us, when I took an egg out of the box the other day, a white feather came out with it - and these were supermarket eggs, not farm shop eggs! I'm hoping it means we will get good news on Saturday.

@Eliza9919 I'm sure your feather was a good sign and that someone is watching over you and your baby, best of luck for Saturday xx
@SquigglyOne yes I cried when the feather landed on me 😭 but then I realised what it meant and that I was not alone!
The other thing that happened last night which also involves the feather was, I txted my bf to tell him about the feather and sent him a picture of it, ( iPhone live pic you know the ones that move and pic up sound) well he txt me back not even two minutes later and said play it back, now let me explain something when I took this picture I was alone in the office at my work no one around just me, well I played the live pic back and you can hear a mans voice ( that sounds like my late grandad) on the clip saying " one feather" I couldn't believe it at first so played it back to my work colleagues and they heard it as well!!! So not only did my grandad answer my prayer about sending a feather but he was also with me when I found it and took the pic for my bf, I asked bf what he had heard and he said a male voice saying " one feather"!!!!!

That’s a beautiful story about the feather @Katy34. It also brought a tear to my eye. It’s great to have something like that to give you comfort at such a difficult time!

Katy34 · 31/05/2019 10:26

@Bubblebubble123 thank you, I'm glad I shared what has happened, I keep playing back the live pic and still can't believe it!!

There's been no growth since last week. They want to do a confirmation scan on Monday and look to do medical management, whatever that is. She gave us some leaflets to look at.

@Eliza99, I hope you don't mind me replying. I've been reading the thread for a while, but not joined in, just saw your post and didn't want to read and run. I'm so sorry it was bad news. Just wanted to say, a similar thing happened to me. I thought I was 8 weeks, but after some spotting a scan showed it had stopped developing at about 5/6. Medical management is where they give you drugs to bring on a miscarriage, as the pregnancy isn't progressing but the miscarriage isn't happening naturally. I was offered this and surgical management, for mine. After doing some research, I personally went with the surgery, as it seemed to me the best way to know it was, for want of a better phrase 'all done with' so I could try to move on. So maybe ask about this? But it's a very personal choice. Take care and look after yourself. Hope you have lots of support. Xxx

Bubblebubble123 · 01/06/2019 13:48

So sorry to hear this news @Eliza9919. Be kind to yourself. Take the time to grieve and heal mentally. It’s a tough time.
Sorry also to you @fivebyfive2. Hope you’re recovering ok after your loss.

ELJ1502 · 01/06/2019 14:02

@Eliza9919 I'm so sorry to read this. I hope you get the support you need.

Katy34 · 02/06/2019 08:41

I'm so sorry @Eliza9919

Eliza9919 · 02/06/2019 10:55

Thanks everyone. Quite bad cramps started yesterday evening but no bleeding yet. I'm leaning towards the surgical route now too, for the same reasons as five.
