Pre eclampsia

My last pregnancy I was diagnosed with pre eclampsia and induced straight away.

I have been suffering with a really bad migraine for the past few days and at first put it down to the heat, but last night it became too painful and even painkillers weren't taking the edge of it. I have woken up still in agony with a migraine.

Last night my feet swelled to the point where I couldn't even see my ankles but have gone down now, and I've been reading that it swelling is to do with pre eclampsia they don't swell then not swell then swell again, they just stay swollen?

I have been constantly exhausted, but people keep saying it's because I'm 37 weeks and nearing the end, I can't keep my eyes open past 7pm.. im constantly excessively thirsty, and when I look at the light my migraines become so intense..

Just wondering if it could be pre eclampsia again.

With my last pregnancy I didn't get diagnosed with it until 37 weeks either..

Call DAU or triage and get checked out urgently.

I had PE in my first pregnancy. I had a migraine in this pregnancy and was checked out by the hospital. They ended up keeping me in overnight for observation and they told me very clearly that I absolutely must go in with any sort of PE symptom (headache, swelling, visual disturbance, upper abdo pain) immediately.

I hope you feel better soon.

You need to get checked out ASAP, I would call triage now. Headaches and swelling are very common symptoms of pre eclampsia.

I had pre eclampsia with my first at 36 weeks and instantly induced, I was monitored much more closely with my second but was still diagnosed with pre eclampsia again at 35 weeks. Have you had recent BP and urine checks?

Hope you feel better soon.

I had PE in my pregnancy, I went from being totally ok at my midwife appointment on the Monday to gaining 2.5 stone in fluid & being dangerously ill by Friday. I was admitted & induced, induction failed after 3 days, I had EMCS on the Monday evening & was in high dependency with HELLP Syndrome. If you have the slightest thought you may have PE, go to get checked straight away, it isn't worth the risk of still birth & to your own health.

Please go in and get checked.
I had PE in second pregnancy only (very unusual the MW said) and I had no symptoms at all - picked up at 34wk check up.
It's not worth the risk of waiting.

@Cathster yeah my BP has been up and down all pregnancy one minute it's fine next minute it's 160/98 but all urine checks have came back fine

Please go and get checked. I had pre-eclampsia and one of my ankles did swell and go down and then swell again.
I also had the migraine and the fatigue. My urine also came back fine. As you’ve had it before your also more likely to get it again. It’s not worth the risk of not going. Hope you are ok.

Please go get seen, definitely symptoms showing as a display of pre-eclampsia
