What can I take?

Happy Easter Monday guys,

Just wondering if I could take night nurse or nurofen as a once off tonight before going to bed as I am slightly smothering and I have no ordinary paracetamol left? Can somebody lend me a bit of advice please?
Also, should I inform hospital if I have a head cold before going in for 21 week scan on Wednesday? This is my first pregnancy if you can't already tell Any advice would be much appreciated!

Definitely not to night nurse or nurofen I’m afraid. Not worth the risk to baby. Steam and saline sprays only according to my midwife. Or lemon and honey (plus paracetamol which you've not got).
I don’t think they need to know about a headcold. I had one at 12 wk scan and no-one cared.
I have my scan on Weds too.

Okay I didn't think it would be alright, I actually have a saline nasal spray, I'll stick with that. Thanks a mill! Oh exciting stuff, I can't wait for Wednesday now! I was worried considering it's a maternity hospital and I wouldn't want to be spreading anything. I hope it'll sod off by Wednesday morning.
