37 weeks with AWFUL cold...anyone else?

Just need a moan really!! I'm just over 37 weeks and have developed what feels like the worst cold I've ever had. Horrid cough, sore sore throat, snot central, headache, aches and pains...just miserable. Anyone else got one or had one in pregnancy? I'm on paracetamol and hot ginger and honey as lemon is making my heartburn intolerable.

Just really really sucky. Really hope LO doesn't decide to show up now !!

I'm nearly 34 weeks and had this just over a week ago. I honestly felt like I was dying. If I hadn't have had my flu jab I would have thought it was flu. Hope you feel better really soon.

Thanks @Stormwhale . Poor you it's just awful isn't it. How long did it take you to feel better? This is the worst day so far (day 3) so I'm hoping I'll feel a little better tomorrow. Why is having a cold in pregnancy so much worse !?

I felt back to normal after about a week. The first 4 days were the worst, I was bed bound. Then the last three I felt like shit but could function.
