Pregnancy madness

Hello,

I was just wondering if anyone else has had any pregnancy madness?

Let me tell you what happened:

Was in Sainsburys with DH and DD and we went into the restaurent part. So, I queued up for the food drinks and then, instead of following the rest of the queue to the til, I picked up my tray, span around, and went straight to the table where DH and DD were sitting. Even at this point I still did not notice anything a miss - though lots of people were looking over at us, I just assumed that they were looking at my daughter and thinking what a cutie she was

I didn't realise until we were at the shop til (yes, I paid for the shopping) and I wondered why I still had that £20 note that I was going to spend in the restaurant....

Anyone had something simular? Or, is it just me.....

my friend tried to say the machine had swallowed her card - daft mare hadn't put it in!

It doesn't stop when you've had your baby either...

I tried to open the car door by tugging at the glove compartement handle whilst pg with ds. i got really cross at it not working!

pabamella · 15/07/2007 20:30

When i was PG i withdrew £50 from the cash machine, took my card and recipt and walked away leaving the £50 sticking out!

Aman ran down the road after me and handed it back!

The only mad thing i have had so far which is way out there is our cleaning cupboard at work is like a drug to me, could stand in it and sniff it all day long, now that is bizzare!

About 2 weeks after giving birth I went to the cashpoint, got cash out and left my card in the machine!! I also tried to insert my bus pass into the car park's machine at a shopping centre. These days, at aged only 37, I often walk into a room and forget what I was supposed to be doing!

I filled up the kettle and didn't replace the lid. At least the counter top got nice and clean...

It's a very good job we don't already have small children in the house...

Thanks so much for all your responses! I am so glad makes sigh of relief others are experiencing the same kind of thing

Not to mention what a chuckle I am having hearing other people's accounts of "pregnancy madness"

yeah its good to know your not on your own, i feel absolutly crazy this time around, but hey thats half the fun!!

I was telling DH that they're going to install fireworks on a roundabout near us - couldn't understand why he was looking at me all weird!!!

Of course, I meant traffic lights! Ever since then, we can't drive past that roundabout without either DH or DS commenting on the lovely catherine wheel!

I'm normally a bit dotty anyway (blonde with irish blood!) but this pg has sent me truly doolally - I've been saying the strangest things, even in my book!

(does anybody else think that the word 'monkery' is a reasonable name for a place where monks live?).
