Ttc after miscarriage

Hello I'm sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place. I have had a mmc and am due to take tablets on Wednesday to start the bleeding. How long after I finish bleeding am I okay to ttc? I am desperate to start again.

I had a mmc last summer...was told you can have sex when the bleeding stops...we did but it took 6 months to get pregnant again.
Unfortunately that also ended in mc...however....we again started trying immediately and I got pregnant before having a period...currently about 11 and a half- 12 weeks pregnant anxiously waiting for my first scan!

Be kind to yourself I became really obsessed after my first loss xx

The standard advice is to wait for one period and then try again as left over pregnancy hormones can make you more fertile. You'll get a lost of posts on here saying not to wait etc however I didn't wait and had back to back miscarriages followed by a near fatal ectopic. My first miscarriage caused fluid in my tube which was toxic and caused my second miscarriage and then caused the blockage which caused my ectopic. Worst case scenario I know and I maybe the minority but for the sake of waiting one month it's much safer x

I'm sorry about your miscarriage @Chanel05. I had a mmc just over 2 weeks ago. I saw a gynecologist the week after my miscarriage and she said we didn't need to wait to try again and as long as I'd stopped bleeding and felt ready we could try again. We're not actively ttc but not preventing. My bleeding lasted about 9 days but was fairly light once I'd physically miscarried.

We had a MC Easter weekend - my checks incidCated I was all clear immediately as i'd only been 5/6 weeks and based on my 'symptoms' I've been ovulating again so we started trying again this week 😍👌🏻!

The hospital told me I didn't even need to wait for a period so we didn't! Xox
