Bleeding

I found out I'm pregnant on Friday. About 2-3 weeks.
I've got some mild period type cramps in stomach, just went for a wee and when I wiped there was a bit of pinkish red blood on the toilet paper, like the beginning of a period. I'm terrified I'm having a miscarriage, I want to go and get checked out but DP thinks it's normal and I could be still implanting. I'm scared

@LHMB period like pains are complete normal, and some spotting is normal as well. However if the bleeding starts to get very heavy you will need to see someone. If your worried book an appointment to see your dr when possible, but kn the mean time keep an eye on the bleeding.

Hi, are the cramps really bad? Miscarriage cramps are painful. Is the bleeding heavy ... try not to think the worst and get checked out even give NHS direct a ring x

Thank you for replying ladies, the cramps aren't bad, very mild, I went to the toilet again to check, no more spotting yet, my friend said that she thinks it could be a bit of implantation bleeding, and she had it on and off for the first 6 weeks, that everything was fine and dr's told her it was normal. I remember having slight bleeding when I was pregnant with my son, this was 17 years ago! Thank you, I'll keep an eye on it, really wish I could get an appointment tomorrow but have to wait until Tuesday. I might give 111 a call
