Bleeding after sex in early pregnancy

I've posted this on another thread, but didn't really get a response.

I'm around 6 weeks pregnant today. After sex last night, I bled a little but then when I wiped there was barely anything there. I've checked this morning and I have dark brown watery discharge when wiping. This has continued today.

I googled last night and lots of thread mentioned it as something normal as long as there was no pain and no prolonged bleeding. There's no pain different to the normal aches.

Obviously with it being Easter weekend, the number I have for a community midwife will be out of action and the GP will be closed.

Do I take the advice and just relax or is there something else I should do? Has anybody else experienced this and been okay?

Yesterday I had a private scan because I passed a dark red clot and had brown discharge. At the scan they found a baby and a haemotoma. I was told I might bleed more. Best to get a scan either privately or your epau to put your mind at rest

I have four dc and this was the way I knew I was pregnant. It can be totally normal I would wait and see and maybe speak to someone on Tuesday if things haven't settled.

Happened to me last pregnancy a lot! It's very common. When you steak to epu or dr they'll ask if you've had sex because it's a common cause of irritation

If it's still happening on Tuesday give the dr or epu a call

Ps this pregnancy DH and o decided against sex in early pregnancy because I couldn't cope with the stress of bleeding again

Thank you for your advice ladies. It seems to have calmed down now and there's barely anything there.

This is my first so I'm nervous about every little thing. My first appointment with a midwife isn't until the 15th of May too, so I'm relying heavily on the Internet for help and reassurance.
