Hi all - not sure where to post - so I’m 11wk+1 - last week at 10wks I had a massive bleed, took in ambulance to a&e due to concerns with my heart rate and blood pressure. (this was me panicking) So then I was sent to gynaecology ward - where I was given internal exam. They said they were happy for me to go home - but to come back in morning for scan. Thank god the baby is fine. Now I’m worrying constantly!!! Also getting concerned that every time me and my partner have sex I start bleeding - it’s not a lot, and midwife and doctor aren’t concerned. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I kept worrying constantly?
Thanks in advance - any help/information would be great

I did bleed after sex once at about 14wks with one of my pregnacies and everything was fine, it is scary but if the hospital thought anything bad they would tell u not to have sex. Maybe try and have quicker softer sex than full on longer sex this may stop u bleeding.

It’s so difficult when there’s bleeding not to worry but hold on to the positive scan. It’s probably just a sensitive cervix which is quite common I think. Could you maybe hold off the sex just for a couple of weeks - not because it’s likely to be a problem but if it stops the bleeding it will stop the worry.

(I had similar bad bleeding including at 13 weeks - i was advised to take it easy for a couple of weeks by the doc - we stopped sex until about 20 weeks when I felt more confident everything was going well and no more problems bleeding after that)
