I walked a lot today! Yay for keeping active but OMG my inner thighs are red raw from chafing. I’ve never had this before and it hurts!

A quick google on my travel lead me to Boots to pick up a tube of Lanacare Anti-chafing gel. It had 5 star reviews online and came high recommended on MN posts circa 2011.

I applied in the toilets of a cafe, and it soothed the area somewhat but it didn’t really help much. It really hurts! Maybe it’s the hot weather, maybe it’s the fact I did walk a lot today but I’m worried this is just a taster for the summer time when I am heavily pregnant and it’s even hotter.

Suggestions welcome. Ideally products, I don’t really want to have to wear cycle shorts under my skirts.

Roll on deo down the inside of thighs, allow to completely dry. Some people find talc helpful too.
But shorts work best IME.

Asda Little Angels liquid talc is miraculous.

I use those lace thigh bands as well as the anti chaffing powder from lush...
But im definitely worried about summer 😭

Biancadelrioisback · 19/04/2019 20:26

Anti chaf bands. I always wear them. I've got canny big thighs and I dread wearing dresses in the summer. Bought the band's last year and they're great! Look alright too

Stick deodorant. Brilliant stuff.

Brave a running shop or proper sports shop, and get a stick of Bodyglide. Brilliant stuff
