In Need Of Prayers

Hello everyone. Most of you may have been scared finding out you were pregnant just as I was. But today I started having period like bleeding, I am 5 weeks and all I can do is pray my baby is okay until I go to the doctors Monday. Every time I change my pad I can't help but look to see if I miscarried. I haven't had any sharp awful pain nor large clots so I am leaving this to fate. I pray my baby will be safe and healthy.

I will pray for you . Hope you are ok x

Will pray too, might be implantation bleeding? If Monday is too long a wait you could go to a hospital urgent care / a&e (will probably have to wait a while to be seen)

Or call 111 for advice? I suspect they’ll advise a&e

I believe implantation would be just spotting, this is about my normal flow of blood for my period. I have heard stories of women still bleeding in their first trimester. I am praying with all my heart my little nugget is still in there growing.

Sorry to hear you are going through this. In all honesty, I'd get seen now - call 111 and see what they say.

Can I suggest you go to A&E? There isn’t much they can do, I’m afraid if you are miscarrying, but it’s best to be checked. Good luck.

You need go go to a&e hun it could be a chemical pregnancy? Also its bank holiday Monday if your in the UK, so best not to wait another 3 days xx praying for you 💐

Praying xxx

BertrandRussell · 19/04/2019 17:31

A chemical pregnancy is just a very early miscarriage occurring at about the time your period was due. So nothing to worry about medically.

hdipper17 · 19/04/2019 17:49

There is still a chance I am not miscarrying and everything is going to be okay. Some women bleed throughout their whole pregnancy. I am just having a weird pregnancy.

I hope your okay. Try not to over stress and it is your choice if you want to wait or go to A&E. In the meantime take it easy. Sending prayers your way

Meanroda · 19/04/2019 18:14

Also, I know someone who had heavy periods throughout their whole pregnancy so it is not uncommon

3teens2cats · 19/04/2019 18:32

I had bleeding at 6 weeks. Had I not taken the test I would have just thought it was my period and not thought anything of it. I remember going to the GP on a Friday and he said there was nothing that could be done. To go home and try to just carry on as normal over the weekend, see what happens. I was beside myself, so upset. I couldn't go to work on the Monday as I couldn't stop crying. By Tuesday the bleeding had slowed but I still felt pregnant, boobs were sore, bit sick and felt bloated. I went back to the GP who sent me to the early pregnancy unit for a scan. On the screen was a tiny wiggly little thing. I was still pregnant and it looked alive! They could not reassure me that everything would be fine only that I had not misscarried yet. They said they would check again in 2 weeks. The very next day my bleeding stopped completely and I am happy to report that ds is now 19 and home from uni for Easter!
I hope my experience will give you some hope. Best wishes

@3teens2cats oh! Happy for you!!!! Good luck! May I ask why didn't they do anything to stop you from miscarrying? Neither the GP, not the ward? Is it a usual thing in the Uk (UK right?)?

❤️ fingers crossed for you x

Timide, this was 20 yrs ago. I don't know if things have changed but my understanding is that there is nothing that can be done to prevent an early miscarriage.
